How do you keep yourself updated on the lives of the people around you? Or update them about your own life? Do you talk to them individually every chance you get? No, because that is not only tiring but also impossible with the limited time we all have in our lives. This is where social media comes in. It allows you to keep on top of everything happening in the world; especially when it comes to your friends and family. One social media website that beats all the others in this regard is Instagram.
Created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, Instagram was released as a free mobile app for iOS devices in 2010. Its Android version was launched two years later, in the April of 2012, soon followed by a website interface in November of the same year. But, what exactly is Instagram? Well, its a desktop, mobile, and internet based photo sharing application that allows its users to share their life with others in the form of pictures and videos. But, it does so in a unique and interesting way; users have the choice to add various filters to their pictures and videos, add geotags of locations and tag their family and friends in their posts. However, as a social media website, there can come a time where you may not remember your Instagram’s password. For such a time, you need to know how you can reset Instagram password.
In order to reset Instagram password, first thing you have to do is make sure your device is connected to the internet. Now, open your browser and go to www.instagram.com and click the “Log in” option at the bottom. Then, underneath the “Log in” button, click “Forgot password?”. On the next page, you have to enter your Email or Username and resolve the captcha, followed by clicking on the “Reset Password” button. You will receive the further instructions in your email which you must follow to reset your password. And that’s it, that’s all you need to know if you wish to reset your Instagram password.
